Happy as a student? No way. >_> But yeah, I think there's definitely such a thing as a dream job. My aunt (a music teacher and professional events organizer) is living out her dream, for example.

Five to ten years from now, I'd want to be self-employed as a writer/costumer/freelance web-entrepreneur person. I've already got the writing part in alpha testing mode and even though I've definitely had a late start on sewing I'm doing the best I can to get to a decent skill level. It's not going to be easy, but nothing worthwhile is.

[Error: unknown template qotd] Limyaael's Fantasy Rants. <3 Very, very enlightening and helpful. It's influenced some of my own work-- the Disciples of Alchiba, Rogues' Nation, Bardis Eliyé, and most of the other criminal organizations I've created are inspired by her own rants on thieves in fantasy stories. At any rate, she hasn't updated for a while upon my last checks, but they're still relevant and definitely worth the read.

(Aaaaand I really need to upload some of my own junk and stop doing these. ;_; I can't help it, they're addictive!)

[Error: unknown template qotd]Sehnsucht, a German phrase meaning "desperate yearning," is pretty much my favorite word in any language ever. >.> Something about the word itself captures the spirit of desperate yearning itself. And the concept behind it-- wanting beyond all reason something you can never have-- pretty accurately describes how I feel about my fursonas.

Actually, that feeling really needs a post to itself, since it's kind of hard to describe without getting wordy. More on that later, I guess?

[Error: unknown template qotd]I don't have a cell phone period. ;_; I really want a smartphone too, just for convenience's sake. But...they're expensive. ^^; My uncle has some really neat ones, too, have to say I'm pretty envious. I thought about asking for one on my birthday, but...Cowon released the D2, and it looks *amazing.* Plus, my parents are more likely to get a portable media player than a smartphone. >_> Less bills to deal with. And I definitely can't pay the bills.

[Error: unknown template qotd] Wait what I can only have one? ;_;

Well, what I'd like is to miraculously become a millionaire, but somehow I don't think that's going to happen. >_> As far as more realistic wishes go, I'd like to have a successful second visit with [livejournal.com profile] chimoari at AMA this month.

Now, for the unlimited version.

I'd like to somehow inherit a vast fortune of money and become independently wealthy and move to Vermont with [livejournal.com profile] feathertail and [livejournal.com profile] chimoari can come too if she wants and get my writing published and buy lots of neat gadgets including a computer that doesn't fail like Failtop does and go to Anthrocon and lots of other cons and get a fursuit or better yet become a were-bat/were-corgi/were-possum and have awesome exciting adventures which of course would fuel more writing and I could write an autobigraphy except I'd have to pitch it as a work of fiction but I would know the truth of course and man that would be cool.

Think I'm asking for too much, guys? :P

[Error: unknown template qotd] Fried pickles mein guyzzz. And it was delicious. Also, it's apparently an extremely Southern food, since my granddad (who's from a farming family) thought they were the greatest thing ever and everyone on my extremely Southern mom's side of the family knew what they were, and my dad (who's Pennsylvanian) and I were exchanging mildly shocked looks and muttering "We're eating what?" But my skepticism was proven unwarranted. Oh, and he liked them too.

So, yes, I'd definitely have that again. Especially if it was from the restaurant we went to, which was an awesome little place that used only Free-Range animal products and locally-grown fruits and vegetables.
