Writer's Block: Raving about Rants

[Error: unknown template qotd] Limyaael's Fantasy Rants. <3 Very, very enlightening and helpful. It's influenced some of my own work-- the Disciples of Alchiba, Rogues' Nation, Bardis Eliyé, and most of the other criminal organizations I've created are inspired by her own rants on thieves in fantasy stories. At any rate, she hasn't updated for a while upon my last checks, but they're still relevant and definitely worth the read.

(Aaaaand I really need to upload some of my own junk and stop doing these. ;_; I can't help it, they're addictive!)

I think she actually moved to a different LiveJournal-based platform!

*checks* Oh wait ... her InsaneJournal hasn't updated since 2008. Ah, well.

I knew about the Insanejournal and its apparent torpor. >_>b I actually remember her moving, which is when I first started to forget to check her rants relatively regularly.

Limyaael is amazing. She's pointed out flaws and aspects in writing that I never would have seen until I fell in. She has realistic views for fantasy writing, and I could sure put her suggestions to good use. ^_^

(And yay Disciples and Rogues! The world would be a truely dull place without them.)

Yep, not only that and her recommendations could work for pretty much any steampunk/cyberpunk story with even just minor fantasy elements too. ^_^

(My writing would be a very dull place without them. :P
