Rrrrgh. It cannot come soon enough. *tailtwitch* I want my Pokemon now. ;_; I've been looking forward to this gen, I'm thinking about doing some more serious attempts at battling and such. I've been studying strategy since the second gen but I've never done much actual metagaming against people (mostly because I've never had anyone to play with.) I'm trying to change that, because I'm one of those weird people who think Pokeymonz fighting tiem can be fun.

I'm not the kind of person who goes crazy in-depth, I do go with certain natures and I do kinda-sorta lazily EV train (of the "well, I'm stuck in this cave, might as well pick off some Zubats for speed EVs kind) but that's about it. IVs are too much of a pain to deal with. I will tweak movesets and keep a conscious mind on having a balanced party...that being said, I do use Pokemon I like instead of whoever's most oober (Gaaaaaaaarchomp. fgsfds.)

So yeah, if anyone wants a trading/battle buddy, I'll try to get my team set up ASAP. ._.b

I might later tonight...technically I shouldn't be on now. >_< But I'm watching B/W Wifi battles while working so I figured I might as well drop by DW. I probably will get more responses on FA though. ^^;

I feel your pain. I ended up spoiling myself to a lot of it and am growing impatient myself. Still, I look forward to another chance to battle easily before the game (Black and White have, sadly, removed the auto level up/down feature for online battles). So, if you are interested, I'd love to battle this Saturday. (If you would like to battle, be sure to tell me what time would be good for you, preferably in EST, but if you live in a different time zone, let me know what it is and I can figure it out from there.) My Diamond Friend code is 1676 0167 5299. Let me know if there are any particular rules you follow. My main rules are no Double Team or One-Hit-KO moves, and no "uber" legends like Mewtwo or Lugia (weaker legends, like Kanto's birds, Johto's runners, the Regis, the spirit trio, Cessilia, and Heatran, are fine).

Unfortunately I've had trouble setting up Wifi in my house. X/ It's not just that we've got a password-protected connection, there's some other issue at hand (something's incompatible somewhere and it's fixable, but it takes a lot of tinkering.)

And yeah, I know the tiers. >.>b I've been doing this for a while. But I was specifically looking for gen 5 battles. I'd tested the waters for gen 4 and it's a little...meh. Very dependent on entry hazards, *extremely* offense-based (which I don't mind as much, it does make things faster than gen 2. I tend to get most excited about theoretical things, and gen 4's been played out so much there's not a lot of theory left to experiment with. Gen 5's all shiny and new so yeah. >_<; I'm kinda fickle like that.

Sorry though, and thanks for the offer...if I figure out how to hack my connection so it'll actually work, I'll keep you in mind. ^_^ (Or if gen 5 metagame turns out to be boring.)
