The Reverend's Sermons

I went to my second furmeet yesterday at the park, and it was win. :D I had so much fun.

All in all, it was an extremely fun, eventful Saturday, and now I'm really hyped for FWA. ^_^ But in the meantime, I'm loving going to these meets. :3

[Error: unknown template qotd]Sehnsucht, a German phrase meaning "desperate yearning," is pretty much my favorite word in any language ever. >.> Something about the word itself captures the spirit of desperate yearning itself. And the concept behind it-- wanting beyond all reason something you can never have-- pretty accurately describes how I feel about my fursonas.

Actually, that feeling really needs a post to itself, since it's kind of hard to describe without getting wordy. More on that later, I guess?

Animazement. Was. AWESOME. Definitely the best con I've ever been to, in my admittedly short con-going experience. There were a few hang-ups along the way, namely due to poor planning and miscommunications on my part (sorry again Sediea!)

Overall, I had a really great time, and this has been probably my favorite con so far. Some of the staff could have been a lot nicer, it was well-organized, had some very talented cosplayers, even some fursuiters, a great dealer's room, and lots of fun activities. I'm going to do everything in my power to go again next year.

So, that's about the gist of it. ^_^ And for once, I actually enjoyed posing for pictures and such, which makes me think I might be a natural cosplayer/fursuiter.
